Let's begin with the types of relationships the traveling planets have to the natal horoscope of the United States. There are seven indications of adjustments, four indications of opportunity, three indications of ease or good luck and two indications of opposition or new people.

The astrological symbol for adjustments looks like a seesaw that has a level balancing board. We know that to level a seesaw requires adjusting the weights and energy of each person on the ends of the seesaw. This means Congress will be trying (we hope) to balance the nearly equal balance of power in the Senate, probably by swinging from one extreme to the other. Beginning the end of January, an adjustment period regarding the nation's money culminates in January 2008. This may not be noticeable unless you are skilled at understanding the stock market, the money supply and interest rate changes. These areas begin to be tweaked now through the end of 2008.

There is nervous change in the relationship between the populace, the press and the President. The Independents are trying to bring an appreciation of new ideas to the Democrats, possibly upsetting the status quo.

There are opportunities for the Democrats and Republican to cooperate, for the Democrats to create a better situation with the war, with an opportunity to minimize our presence there. There is an opportunity for the Democrats to create better public relations, better working conditions and better relations with younger people and women.

New people in the Congress and the House bring momentary joy and hope of change. However, their ideas could be too expansionary and fleeting.

January starts off on the 4th with unusual, unexpected relationships that are unstable, especially between Republicans and Independents. The new members are happy and optimistic, apparently bringing change. This could be fleeting. Aside from politics, new people and ideas could clash. There could be a confrontation regarding immigration. New ideas and people want to be heard.

The end of January begins a cycle of insecurity between the Republicans and the President, with accommodations need to be made between them to accomplish anything. There are indications of change in relationships with foreign partners and enemies with a need for an attitude adjustment and perhaps changes in trade agreements. Previously hidden foreign agreements force a shift in their relationship with President Bush and forces the United States to adjust to this change. This reappears in mid-June and end of September.

Beginning of February there is an opportunity for cooperation and balance between Republicans and Democrats, which the Republicans need to accept for success. There is an opportunity for balance of trade and fiscal responsibility which also needs to be accepted for success. There is an opportunity for balance between expansion and restriction and freedom and responsibility. This repeats beginning of June and beginning of October. The word "opportunity" means action must be taken or the opportunity is not realized. If people do not act or there is a deadlock, then nothing happens.

In the middle of February there is an opportunity for the Democrats to minimize the war and stabilize relations with enemies. Opportunity for corporate balance and responsibility, and opportunity for established (blue chip) corporations or companies to stabilize manufacturing. The automobile industry has an opportunity for stabilization. This repeats the end of June. The word "opportunity" means action must be taken or the opportunity is not realized. If people do not act or there is a deadlock, then nothing happens.

Beginning of March there is instability within change, possibly between Independents and Democrats. There is change in the work force because of technology with the need for established corporations to accommodate the change. There could be changes in health care because of innovations to accommodate larger groups, forcing companies and employees to make adjustments. This repeats in November and December.

Beginning of April, a new cycle of harmony begins. An immigrant worker situation could be implemented with good results. The work force seems to include more who were on welfare. Idealism abounds and if put into action to include innovation, reality and the work force, it will work. Innovations in light-based inventions are put into action and help society. Movie stars are less strident and critical. There could be a new movie with a religious subject that is successful. New allies who are both idealistic and realistic help the United States. Laws could be passed to safeguard financial agreements and land. This repeats in July 2007 and through 2008.

An aura of change in religions can be perceived by those who can see during April, May and June. There is an awareness now which begins to be implemented in 2008. There may be changes in the welfare system because of so many people tapping into it. Something is afoot in the movie industry, too. Somehow there is an accommodation or adjustment within the movie industry, possibly because of movie stars' bad behavior and the people's criticism of such. If you are alert, you can see the signs of the changes that will be evident end of February 2008 and through the end of 2008.

Saturn is busy in the fall. Remember Saturn is the patron planet of the Democrats. Saturn is also the planet of honesty when he is in good relationship with the other planets. It looks like there is an opportunity to balance the budget, restraint may actually be desirable to the politicians, led by the Democrats. This begins the end of September and goes through the middle of June in 2008. The end of October is an opportunity for both parties to cooperate and actually get something done. There is an opportunity for good foreign relations because of restraint. Beginning of November there is a change and adjustment dealing with large groups and money paid out. Again restraint and honesty are necessary or the opportunities are not realized. The word "opportunity" means action must be taken or the opportunity is not realized. If people do not act or there is a deadlock, nothing happens.

The other possibilities with these Saturn cycles are opportunities for established businesses to bring stability to the work force, there could be accountability in the schools, and there could be an insistence for people to take responsibility for themselves. Business is good with a continued increase in stable jobs. In business there are opportunities for careful expansion including foreign investment as long as prudence is practiced. The work force could be more inclusive, with the immigrant workers' situation solved. This pattern is between the end of September 2007 through the middle of July 2008.

There is a monetary adjustment because of the excesses the past six years. This is between beginning of November 2007 through the end of July 2008.

There is a very long progression in effect all of 2007, exact on 4 December 2007 and through the end of November 2008. Attention of the President shifts toward home and domestic policy which is well received. Possible better relations with the press. Because of initiatives taken during 2006, 2007 is prosperous with good domestic policy, good relations with the work force and the schools. The financial markets gradually increase, culminating on 4 December 2007. This is most fortunate and has not happened before in the history of the United States. Let us hope that the dynamic, harmonious possibility of good will and abundance is allowed to happen, not to get lost in bickering and criticism of possible monetary changes that seem restrictive to a few. This progression bodes well in all aspects of life in the United States. Interestingly, the President's reputation is better and he is better liked.
